PTO Objectives

Our primary goal is to be a support system for Black Diamond Elementary and the students within its boundaries. In addition we work toward the following:

• Represent the children, families and staff of Black Diamond - providing educational and fun events to expand involvement and communication and enhance our sense of community

• Provide an environmentally-friendly approach to our activities -"Going Green"

  • Increase in electronic communication, less paper

  • Recycle program

• Recognize and increase volunteer involvement

• Increase our involvement within Black Diamond

  • Provide event opportunities to give back to the community

  • Support our elderly and non-PTO community members (community dinners, food drives, etc.)
